Hiding From the Sun

The way my two oldest kids woke up this morning is so telling of their own, unique personalities.

Judah walks in early this morning and snuggles in next to me and says, “my eyes are still tired.” He turned downed my suggestion to go back to sleep because “It’s morning.”

About an hour later, Genesis comes in with her blanket draped over her and simply says “I’m hiding from the sun.”
